1. Get your mobile phone and dial 1909
2. Once the call is connected, select your preferred language.
3. Now, select the "Activate DND" option from the IVRS menu.
4. Select the "Activate Full DND" option to stop most of the credit card calls.
5. Select "5" to confirm your selection.
6. Within 3 days, Full DND will be activated on your mobile number.

In the same boat....
Same thing from RBL for me. I think culprit is PaisaBazaar and BankBazaar, since I started checking CIBIL with them, this has increased. Min 3 calls everyday and around 10 sms for loans daily.

Subject: Request to stop promotional sales calls and messages
Dear Kotak Bank Customer Service Team,
I am writing to you regarding the constant promotional sales calls and messages that I have been receiving from your bank. I have been receiving a minimum of 10 calls a day, and despite telling your representatives that I am not interested, I am still receiving these calls on a daily basis.
I would like to bring to your attention that this has become extremely frustrating for me and has caused me a lot of inconveniences. As a customer, I expect to be able to opt-out of such calls and messages, and I have already communicated my disinterest to your representatives. However, the calls and messages have not stopped.
I kindly request you to take immediate action to stop these promotional calls and messages to my number. I do not wish to receive any further sales calls or messages from your bank. I appreciate your understanding and prompt action in this matter.
Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
Sincerely,
[Kartik (Your NAME)]

If they start with "this is a service call", I start by replying "then make sure you only talk about service related issues and nothing about any commercial offer like card loan etc and also note that this call is getting recorded and can be used as evidence" - normally they do not continue. If they still say anything about card/loan, I just start asking in a sarcastic tone if they are illiterate and do not understand what I said. That definitely does the trick.
If they start saying I am calling from yxz bank, I start with "I do not need credit card do not any loan and do not need any card upgrade, if you have anything else continue otherwise just disconnect". IF they still try talking about loan/card, then I switch to asking if they are illiterate.
And of course, immediately after the call, I just block the no.
They are invading our privacy. So they do not deserve our courtesy.

Areee, just tell them you are not interested in any sales service/promotion based calls.
Then ,they will put your details on DND Mode.

In the same boat for IndusInd pre-approved personal loan.
on the positive side, from last week, receiving the calls from same lines so it's getting blocked but notification marks the present.

As i said before, it ends ups blocking genuine calls from bank/nbfc/nodal direct lines/ Insurance claims/ Insurance broker claim calls/ "Verified" business direct lines etc. also.
