I was shocked to see such big amount of trade deficit.I don't think .any common man knows about this and just keeps buying Kore@n brands especially automobiles...
We signed a free trade deal with Kor...it's a two way deal...but what's happening is..We Indians are buying Kore@n things blindfolded...BUT Kore@ns have a nationalist attitude..they buy only things from companies based in their country, even though if it's costly..and it's giving us a BIG trade deficit..
Means more money is going out from India than its able to get ...from this deal..
So, just wanted to share this so that our fellow dimers get an update and IF there is an Indian automobile option available in front of them..can buy Indian company automobile preferably..

stop blaming other companies based on country origin & accept the fact that CUSTOMER IS KING & KNOWS THE BEST.

all the frustrated middle class customers of maruti's cheap build quality and 3rd class service moved to hyundai where they were treated well. so there is no nationalism issue here and buying a hyundia car they are making sure 1000s of people do remian employed in india

Real issue is indian companies were and are still shyyeet; reason being THEIR COMPLETE EXISTENCE IS due to artificially established monopoly created with assistance from indian govt aided by local major industriualists and their crony lobbyists who out of pure greed make sure to loot money from local customers by forcing local customers to buy their shyyeet as well as using govt red tape to block the access of local customers to world class international products, services & focus

bmw, benz, audi made in india are still way coistlier than the same made in Germany (even before addition of import duties etc whereas labour cost is way higher in EU than india); why, only to protect the tatas and mahindras so that they can keep selling their cheap shyyeet for high prices rather than innovation.

FYI, Hyundia, KIA, Samsung etc as company are Indian companies with huge capital investments creating employments from 1000s in India but with Korean origin. Nobody is stopping tata and mahindra from doing the same in korea.

IN THIS WORLD OF GLOBAL TRADE MAY THE BEST MAN WIN; REMEBER JEALOUSLY IS A FEMININE TRAIT OF BEACHES.

tatas and mahindras need to stop whine like beaches and show that their bottom me dum hey by conquering eu, japan and us markets. apne gali me kuta bhi sher hota hey.

More than S.Korea, our concern is China with huge trade deficit. We don't have a proper supply chain network. Even mota bhai gets most of the manufacturing done in China. Unless robust supply chain network is created, we have to depend more on China.

Respect your opinion..but I agree to disagree...JAGUAR, LAND ROVER , Pininfarina,..who is selling these in international markets(EU,US)??Indian companies is selling them in international markets and they are doing fine..Ford??that international brand couldn't manage overseas(India, or other Asian markets)..but still, that doesn't mean Ford is bad..in the same way, every company has its own market...so we can't say any company is bad just because it isnt present internationally..
And even Maruti couldn't make a 5 star safety rated car under 7lacs segment...land rover(EU) based platforms are being used for Nexon, so in a way, we are evolving right now
