The Govt has forced you to link adhaar with bank account or it will be blocked. You can not work without a bank account. The only option left is to shift your bank account to any North East state. As adhaar is not yet fully rolled out in NE, they can not block your account without adhaar.

I’m wondering why all of you (those who commented above) thinking like Swiss Bank holders.
What’s the problem of linking Aadhar to Bank/PAN account ? only thing by max everything is tracked and it may affect only those who don’t want to pay Tax/those who has to maintain it as black money. Aadhar linking is similar to SSN in U.S. Do support for our One India and one nation.

Apparently, they are self-linking aadhars to bank now. Got a message from sbi on 8th dec that your aadhar has been linked successfully to your bank account.
Even though I didn’t initiate or authorize it.

Aadhar is great danger to thieves and corrupts.. whoever opposing it, they are some or the other way involved in some kind of corruption. some people here may not able to get multiple sim due to aadhar it will stop their loots… so opposition is expected

What it means to have No Aadhaar or Not Willing to Link it:
1. No bank account
2. No phone
3. In absence of above two, you can’t have a job/business. If you manage one, you can imagine how long it will survive.
4. Can’t buy any vehicle other than a bicycle
5. Can’t pay electricity bill more than a prescribed limit in cash. You need to pay through card/netbanking. May be in future, you’ll need Aadhaar to get electricity and water connection.
6. Can’t get a new LPG connection.
7. Can’t get ration.
8. Can’t travel by train/airline.
9. Can’t do a lot of other ‘basic’ things.

Essentially, you’re forced to live like stone age men.

Funny thing is, if you don’t have Aadhaar govt. will never say that you can’t pay taxes. For paying taxes, you don’t need anything. Taxes override all rules.

If you have Driving licence, VoterID, Passport, Ration Card or any other govt. issued ID, they are of no use. Probably, you can make use of these IDs to light up your bonfire in this winter.

For your survival, you need Aadhaar, Oxygen can wait.

As expected, bhakts (paid and/or brainwashed) have descended. I was wondering what took so long. Anyway, I am not going to engage with them because I lack the time and its not even productive. If anyone is still convinced that Aadhaar or for that matter other madnesses by the government is the best thing to happen since Independence maybe, then there’s no need to waste time here.

If anybody has anything useful to contribute or inquire, I’ll be happy to respond. To those who are still in the dark regarding the issue, I can only say study the stuff yourself. No bhakt is going to come and help when things start going south for you/everyone. Understanding the issue is above their pay grade anyway.

One common line of defence being used is that the government is “your own”, so whats the problem in giving it data when you are giving it to foreign companies? This line has been used so often despite debunking it, that I’m sick and tired of even responding to it. I’d just point you to this very important expose about how we have already been sold to hostile intelligence agencies and private concerns. So if you still have any doubts about who the government is working for, be rest assured its not for me or you. Nor is an election rigging government ours, except in our imagination.

Further, it has been revealed, along with associated documentation, that even biometric data that UIDAI relentlessly keeps harping is safe, is out in the wild. Operators themselves have this data to use and misuse as they please. The risks and problems are way too many too even count or summarize.

I doubt how many people are here supporting Aadhaar and UID project are really learned about the same rather just politicizing this due to the current Govt’s push which indeed objected the same in UPA’s regime. Even a pea-sized brain can figure this at the very moment when someone asking you to enroll for it and link it to all your essential stuff one by one is the same person who has opposed the same some years back citing security issues to the country.

LoL its like THE cheaters (government) are trying to get rid of small time cheaters with Aadhaar, so they can do cheating at monopoly level, undisputed cheaters . A poor implementation of something is worse than not implementing something by the way.

Aadhaar is a dangerous thing for only those who don’t know how to keep themselves alert and safe. People are happy giving their all information to apps on their phone from contacts to sms and file data but when it comes to Aadhaar, it is stealing privacy. PAN is also there from many years and its database available online and bank accounts linked with it since many many years, why not cry over PAN then?

NSDL and CDSL send me reports of my holding in Equity, Derivatives Market, Currency and Mutual Fund investments every month. I never gave them permission to collect info. but as all these things had my PAN with them, they collected it. I take it in a positive way as now I know about my all investments in single report unlike before where I have to keep track of everything. Although I personally keep track of every single investment myself but this thing helps me tally the same.

Some sleeping people don’t know about how much unclaimed money belonging to someone is lying idle with RBI, Mutual Funds and Insurance Companies and Equity Market and savings schemes as people who did that forgotten it or maybe died and their family not knowing it at all. Recently my friend whose father died in 2011 came to know about his investment in mutual fund which his father never shared with family members as most people in India don’t do and wait for kids to grow or wife is not that educated to understand or any other reasons. It was investment of Rs. 75000 in 2010 which now standing at over 5.3 Lakhs. He came to know only when Mutual Fund AMC sent the unclaimed 25 more units which were offered for free by company in 2015. If they had changed their home and went to other place they would never be able to get any info about it as all AMC had was address of his father and mobile number which was issued to someone else. His father mobile number was issued to someone else because of non-usage. His mother was nominee which helped them easily claim it. Similarly there are lakhs of genuine investments which are lying idle as investor died or forgotten and family don’t know about asset. At least Aadhaar will bring all together and people will come to know about their loved ones investments or assets in case of mis-happening.

A smartphone is also a bomb in your hand and you never know when it explodes.

In life you have only three ways of thinking. Positive or Negative or Stay Neutral. But some people are born to see only negative and they get nothing out of it. They keep on spreading negativity instead of enlightening themselves to be safe and make life of others safer.

People are thinking that until now Govt were unaware of their belongings and Aadhaar will bring everything in open. You can post your mobile number, bank account number or even debit/credit card number in open or on websites like freecharge, paytm etc or even unknown website but linking Aadhaat will leak your information which it never does. Wahi baat ho gayi, card number online daalna safe hai, baki sab khatarnaak hai.

Most of the people don’t even know that their financials assets are being shared with US under FATCA arrangements from many many years. If you have something genuine then no reason hiding it behind. If due to Aadhaar, you lose money from bank account or hacks, you must know that Govt will be held responsible in such cases and you won’t lose your money. If you do stupidity on your end then why cry over systems then.

If you look at another angle keeping money in banks is also not safe at all. If something really bad happens then by rules you can only claim money upto Rs. 1 lakh only even though you had crore in account. So jab tak chalta hai chalayo. Kuch bhi permanent nahi hai. Jo tera hai woh tera hoke bhi tera nahi hai bas yeh tera veham hai ki woh tera hai. Trans: Enjoy!!!!
