99% of tech YouTube channels from India are complete waste of time for their content creators. Young educated guys, non-college-going guys are wasting their own money buying toy products like "smart watch(es)" which are 2024 version of digital watches from 1980s, "headphones" which existed even during World War I etc. Some Indian chorbazaris who used to bring China maal in 1980s are still bringing sadak chhap China maal at 150 inr then putting cool sounding names of brands discontinued in the US or European countries (or else non copy righted names in India) like Tagg, Pebble, Noise, BoAt etc. and flooding Indian market with China junk that is lower tech than sugar water manufacturing. Just like walkmans, digital watches used to be popular and considered cool with non-earning youth in the 80s, they are considered cool now. All the smart watches these people review has exactly the same OS (RTOS), same chipset (electronic watches used to have chipsets too), same non existing sensors (goodness), same 1900's step count technology (wiki it). If you have multiple of these watches or TWSes, you'd feel like throwing up on them as these are indistinguishable across brands. These people even parrot the same lines of not depending on the health related watch readings. Why buy then? And who cares watching any video before spending 999 on a Chinese junk when the veg thali costs 250+ in Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and 350+ in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore. None of these videos have number of views which can cover the cost of the meaningless products they show, clothes they wear, interior decor they maintain, camera they use, electricity they burn (editing) or energy drink they consume to sound enthusiastic about the exact same products they review in every video. These channel will never have a breakout video or a rainmaker given the content and presentation. Just like in 90s, youth burned their hands selling LCC, NIIT courses on commissions, Amway and other MLM products, Eureka Forbes vacuum cleaners door to door, these young people are getting in front of camera at home and posting videos in YouTube thinking they are influencers and celebrities and on road to great careers. Out of thousands, may be 10-20 people will succeed but the rest will perish. What are these guys doing? They can do better things and actually earn money doing something meaningful. No one is interested in these videos. These people need a quick reality check. I genuinely feel sorry for them.
Ab mujhe gaali dena hai to de do. I have written it sincerely.

No idea what is the point of this response. If IITians are doing this then they would also not survive. The absolutely topmost tech YouTubers are forced to join the age old medium of TV, selling TShirts, etc, if anyone is delusional that there is any money for the bottom, then you are dreaming. How long people will watch the same things?
After reading your post, I feel sorry for you as you have wasted your time and energy to even think about this as literally its no use to even think about it so don't waste your time in troubleshooting these topics 😊, YouTube has become like a lottery system where (as you said) only few will win and bulk of the rest will perish as going forward all these social platforms will make their rules tough to earn (monetize) as the competition is increasing every day just like how credit cards lured us into using them and now all are heading or already R.I.P cutting all rewards and cashbacks...
Gaali dena is allowed, so...
Brother, why are you feeling frustrated? It's okay. It's okay..!
I am feeling sorry, not frustrated.
Most Indian tech, especially so-called mobile reviewers, also copy-paste content. They lack technical backgrounds but engage in this due to affiliate marketing, sponsorships from brands, and revenue from YouTube ads. With mobile marketing booming in India, YouTube can easily target ads to viewers.
Will YouTube bubble burst
Atleast they aren't promoting Gutka.
From so called richest actor of India to Padma Vibhushan Awardee National Icon. From top actors to top cricketers, everyone are promoting Gutka.😂 😂😂
Haha @sb120458
The biggest problem of today's generation is, you know what? They think that just because they have a degree, whatever they say must be right.
People tell me so many times when I questions about ISRO's rocket engine.
Like i said liquid fuels is best but ISRO still use 1970s technology and Solid fuels etc.
Some say to me that it was not expected from me that I would raise questions on ISRO or some say sarcastic way that I have a PHD, like an ISRO scientist and many more.
They don't understand that this is not just science, it's business.
How does Mukesh Ambani manage everything from oil, retail to telecom, even though he hasn't studied any of these things?
Because this is business. Scientists and engineers can make new innovations, discoveries, but they cannot tell what is necessary for business and profitability.
I have only studied science till class 10th, then I switched to commerce. Still, I can say that hydrogen fuel cannot be made.
How can I say that? Because we all have studied and seen in the periodic table. Hydrogen is a light element and is at the top 👇🏼👇🏼
No matter what you do, hydrogen will leak. That's why before launching a rocket, you will see, the countdown starts -5 sec, -4 sec but still hydrogen fuel keeps filling in the rocket.
One guy told me, one IIT professor, doing research on hydrogen fuel, and the government/IITs are funding him.
They just don't understand how costly it is to produce and carry hydrogen. Even if you mass-produce it, you can't reduce the cost.
Then making things like Hyperloop is almost impossible and not cost-effective.
The Hyperloop is an idea centuries old, known as the 'gravity vacuum tube' or 'gravity vacuum transit'.
The concept was based on a 1799 proposal made by George Medhurst.
In 1800, a person conducted an experiment with his child sitting in it; I couldn't find the picture online (If you search, you'll find it). And then it became clear that on Earth it is impossible to travel through a vacuum on a tube.
The Maharashtra govt wasted 500 crore rupees in the name of Hyperloop. Why? Because Elon Musk said so?
Then in the last 4-5 years, you might have heard about diamond batteries coming, aluminum batteries coming, Falana battery, Dimkana battery. Where are all those?
All of those were supposed to replace lithium-ion batteries in the market within 5 years, right? Where are they now?
Technical Guruji made a video about diamond batteries, saying they would power electric cars.
The power of diamond batteries is so low that we would need a battery the size of a suitcase just to power our normal basic watches. Electric cars are out of the question.
And Technical Guruji has studied engineering. What he has done, only he knows.
Anyway, I can talk about many things if I want. I can expose all our Indian scientists and engineers. And that doesn't mean they are wrong. The problem is that Indian scientists and engineers are lack knowledge of business, profitability and economy.
And in our country, 99% of people lack knowledge of business, that's why they keep cursing or abusing people like Mukesh Ambani, Adani, Tata etc (Yes, people also criticize Tata; don't say that they don't criticize Tata).
since this was not a upi related post
i never noticed the username

No they are not. They are spending their parents hard earned money and running in losses which they will never be able to recuperate
I strongly agree with your sentiment and regularly urge those around me to refrain from supporting frivolous YouTubers. Let's use our influence to encourage creators who produce valuable and meaningful content instead.
The user expresses strong criticism towards the majority of tech YouTube channels from India, arguing that they waste resources reviewing low-quality, redundant tech products such as smartwatches and headphones that offer no real innovation or value. The user points out that these products, often cheap imports with rebranded names, lack technological advancement and are essentially similar to outdated gadgets. They also criticize the creators for engaging in an unproductive activity that does not yield significant viewership or financial returns, likening it to past failed entrepreneurial efforts. The user suggests that these content creators could pursue more meaningful and profitable activities instead of focusing on these unimpactful tech reviews. The tone suggests frustration and concern for the youth involved in these endeavors, and the user invites criticism for their blunt assessment, indicating they've shared their thoughts sincerely.
wow
clear & concise .
need translation of abhishek012 comment ?
dont mind asking what industry u are from ?
Sorry OP thanks to YoYoDesiBeat I now do understand your pain
I don't know what you are talking about but then I guess I am too old for this forum. If you are trying to abuse me or insinuating something, that's fine, as I had already mentioned at the bottom of my post. Please go ahead...
Maybe i should start my own, "Technical YouTube"
Please, sir!
You seem to be so frustrated already
As I said, I am sad. And I am adding to that, you are a joke especially with Dr. in name lurking on a discount website making random aspersion on internet strangers. Get a life.
Wiki: Frustration arises from the perceived resistance to the fulfillment of an individual's will or goal and is likely to increase when a will or goal is denied or blocked.
I have no horse in this game.
Wiki: Sadness is an emotional pain associated with, or characterized by, feelings of disadvantage, loss, despair, grief, helplessness, disappointment and sorrow.
I feel disappointment, sorrow and helplessness at the situation.
