No use disabling now lol. Whatever is breached, is done.

It would take a few months for the data to be sold and then circulate among prospective buyers (if it's not already done).

Even internet banking username and passwords were breached. Good luck changing your entire icici environment.

Better to be safe. Nothing is lost if transactions are disabled, but might be some loss if not disabled.

May be the data leak is true, because

Some 45 days back I got a call in the name of ICICI bank branch team,. Your new CC is being delivered and that person started saying all my details like my home address, bank branch, nominee details and even 1 security question . Finally asked me to open imobile app and tell him the pin .😮

Immediately I contacted branch manager, and he said it is impossible, no one can take ICICI data .... Blah blah and took the caller number .

That's it. They are not accepting any data leak.

Still I can't understand, How the caller got all my details .

Maybe that's the reason why I got an unauthorised international transaction on the card a few days back. Got it replaced after that.

My tip: disable international transactions.

Rahul Sasi, co-founder and CEO at CloudSEK tells ETCISO that the the CyberNews' report is based on a leaked data dump from DigitalOcean. He says that the leaked dump contains data from several other companies and not just ICICI Bank.
