I wanted a CC from ICICI but didnt have a credit history so i opted for CC against FD in March. FD was for 10k. In June i lost the CC so i cancelled it in the hopes that they will replace it but they never did. So then i went to bank to cancel my FD in bank and they have still not done it. I have visited them so many times since then and every time they give fake assurances or excuses. What do I do?

Next time just write few emails…..or complain online https://www.icicibank.com/complaints/complaint....
What was the tenure of FD? Did you try to cancel it online yourself using portal? Go to customer service section online and see if it is showing or not.
I think you only blocked your card…. You need to completely cancel credit card account by calling customer care.
Or your credit card cancellation request rejected for any reason. Have you confirmed if your card account is cancelled? You got NOC?
6 months was the tenure it got auto renewed
its cancelled. I dont see it anywhere in netbanking or app. Also i have tried to cancel the FD using netbanking. It says FD is under lien. Branch says there is no lien
If it not showing in NetBanking, this is not meant your card account is cancelled….. Your card account is already active.
Call customer care, and press 2 for credit card menu>> tell last 4 digit of your card number. And know status.
Have you got any card cancellation confirmation email? Or physical confirmation letter?
ICICI’s customer support has degraded a lot. Even axis bank’s customer support is better than this bank nowadays.
Is the FD method of ICICI Credit card giving LTF card?
Give written complaint and demand for acknowledgement, they will do it instant
How much limit cc u get by 10k fd..
ICICI has worst bank customer care. Evidently the entire ICICI bank management is rotting
hmmm…. are you sure ?

why to cancel FD bro? interest rates have got even less low. Plus if you break FD you be charged penal interest. So if not in urgent need of money, retain FD
