Received this is an email from ICICI regarding changes in Credit card transactions.

Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC):

Starting Feb 5, 2024, a DCC fee of 1% plus taxes will be applicable on each international transaction performed in Indian currency at international locations or transactions performed in Indian currency with merchants located in India but registered in a foreign nation.

Rewards on Utility Payments

You will continue to earn Reward Points on utility transactions as offered on your Card. Starting Feb 5, 2024, the government transactions will be included under utility payment transactions.

For people who wonder about NPS and Tax payment through credit cards.

If you have a high paying icici card that gives you rewards for utilities, you are good to go.
