ICICI-Pockets : Retrieving Money Stuck in Mini-KYC pockets wallet account - Using Net-banking

Case-1: Pockets Account : Full KYC
you can send money to your bank UPI id from pockets wallet upi id. [this is not allowed for mini-KYC]

Case-2: Pockets Account : Mini KYC

  • Each Pockets wallet prepaid-card is linked to a ICICI net-banking profile [username & Password]. 
  • You can use this netbanking to load money in paytm or amazon wallet. And later transfer to bank.

Case-A. if you have ICICI saving account with the same mobile-no as pocket

    then you can login with your saving account username+password to find pockets card details under Pockets account section


    Case-B.
    If you do not have ICICI saving account [With this specific pockets mobile no]  

    [Doesn't matter you donot have a ICICI account at-all]

    - then you have to follow below steps to find username + password of Net-banking login.
    Step-1: pockets app login screen click "forgot user-id & password"
    Step-2: Retrieving username
    ---- click forgot "User-id" On next screen
    ---- then enter your pockets mobile no and click Nex
    Step-3: Retrieving password
    ---- click forgot "forgot password" On next screen
    ---- you will be asked to enter username
    ---- Set new password

    It has gone worst, used to pay bills via pockets before, now it's  not much use. If you don't have credit card, pockets will offer paylater based on ur use

    useful if you are full kyc. 250 cashback every mth (icici acct holder).

    load 3000 get 50 -twice
    send 750 via UPI from linked ICICI acct get 25 - 3 times
    send 750 via UPI from pockets bal get 25 - 3 times

    Nice. I just checked and Amazon seems to allow CC bill payment via Netbanking as well. It's good to have more options as Airtel Payments Bank can again disable loading via Netbanking in the future.
