On the Play Store page of ICICI pockets, the heading of the app says “UPI on wallet”. Does this mean I don’t require bank account for creating UPI here? Or is it something else? Someone who is using the app please clarify. 🙂
I think it means you can use wallet balance as normal bank balance to transfer through upi.
Yup, it is UPI on Wallet, you will get UPI ID [email protected] which is linked to your wallet and funds will get credit in to your Pockets Wallet. (I think, FULL KYC Users only)
And, you can also load funds in to your Pockets Wallet via UPI by sending UPI transfer to [email protected] (Mini KYC Users also)

you can load or transfer your Pockets wallet balance to any bank account via UPI or Pay any merchant via Pockets wallet balance UPI.
