Icici Saving account MAB charges

Did you check your balance? I don’t know about ICICI but few other banks continue deducting charges even after customer’s balance become negative.

You can search in icici mobile app , what is monthly average i need to maintain in my saving account?

Just call CC via iMobile app and ask What’s my MAB and they will reply within mins.

This is something not visible in net banking or iMobile app. So you’ll get you ur answer. Also make sure to ask them about any charges deducted from your account or will it be deducted if you add Money. Just be on safer side. Ask them send a mail too.

Even in Net Banking you can check your MAB

I have an icici savings account since 2014 and the MAB never changed for me . Its still 10K

Try depositing some amount around 500 and check if it is deducted towards MAB

Don’t put money…. everything will be deducted….for mab charges, sms charges and debit card charges..if you have any physical debit card….whatever money is pending…it will get deducted…everytime you put money…better to submit application in branch and close the account…and after one or two months…again open account online…or open zero balance account online after closing this account

Don’t ever load money in your account. ICICI will deduct all the penalty for non MAB. I suppose you account has been closed if not used for six months. Better to open a new account with ICICI or talk to branch manager. I had account with HDFC 10 years ago in non MAB state. When I visited branch for closing the account, the banker staff talked to rudely asking me to pay the liability first to close the account. I told him what liability, did I have taken loan, he told penalty for non MAB, then I just return back without anu discussion. After a few months I got messages that the account has been closed for non activity for some months.
