IDFC Credit Card Application Experience

Started application on 29th Jan, submitted on 2nd feb, same day video kyc and physical verification. Tentative delivery date was 9th Feb.

But since then, no progress. Just the date keep getting postponed daily. Stuck at “credit review” stage.

Regarding variant I added another card of 5L limit, so was expecting wealth. But they offered  select and asked for bank statement. My 3 month salary was split in 2 banks and so I could not upload both. Now a days the status shows classic card. Didn’t get anything so far.

IDFC Millenia. 

Applied,  video KYC on 15 feb.

Verification,  approval and Card details on App on 16 feb. 

Fastest process.

it will be rejected most probably. Same happened with me in November.

Better if they reject it, Then I will have chance to apply for wealth after few months😅.

yeah that would be good. I got idfc select few days back pre approved from them 😂

i thought they ask credit card statement instead of Bank statement.

Yes for my select card application (applied on C2C basis) they have asked latest month CC statement

What’s difference between all these Variant.. what’s eligibility criteria?

same here. IDFC RM calls me and tells me I have a “pre-approved” CC and offered it LTF. He applied and sent me a rejected screenshot. I complained to their upper management and got my CIBIL Enquiry removed from the enquiries after a few dozens of emails and a free CIBIL one month subscription paid in Amazon GV from them.

I checked in idfc website and it says I am eligible for select credit card.. but i Better like if I get wealth credit card.. is there any way?

Yes.. i got notification from cibil for credit enquiry

Di you do high end transactions?? And how much old account +???

yeah, customer care said they are raising it. But don’t believe them much, as nothing happened afterwards.

Just checked the status again. Still stuck at “credit review”, but somehow the variant is changed back from classic to select, so probably some progress there.

select receives most offers. Only card worth having.

Why select gets most offers? Is not wealth is higher variant and it gives more benefits?

i don’t know why select receives more offers. And yes, wealth is a higher variant.

And it’s approved. Got the virtual select card details with same limit as shown in app in starting. Weird that they are working on weekend. Maybe it will reach by Tuesday. So, Overall 3 weeks.

Congrats. Because even I had got Select variant, i thought I might face same issue as yours at credit review stage. Glad to know that you’ll get the card and thanks for updating buddy

my account balance was 375 when I got pre-approved offer. Account was old around 4-5 years. It’s a zero balance account without debit card. Sometimes I have  done few big tansactions earlier but not much.
