How much for renewal of debit card, heard it is a princely sum?
You can opt for it if you got very limited number of savings accounts but can't remember when's the last time IDFC had some good (/any kind) offer on debit card or credit card.
Every year offer: 10%CB upto 2500 and credit card payment is counted

Got the offer but when opening the link, its showing 25k and 10k mab account only.
I too got the offer. Which debit card will they offer and are there any annual charges. They mentioned debit card issuance charges Nil but nothing about the annual charges.
Most probably VISA classic (Same as 10K MAB accounts) with 199 Annual fee @Agnivo007
Edit: Charges could be Nil even for new accounts. Back in 2022 they announced debit card charges (199 for classic, 499 for signature*) for all accounts, then exempted old users after user backlash but on bank portal it is still no sign of Annual fee if 10/25k MAB is maintained (otherwise 100)

Got the same offer but the application page doesn't show zero balance. I really don't need another account. But I can move my daily expenses account from kotak 811 to here as this gives a little better savings interest. (and get a free rupay platinum card if possible as I don't have a rupay card).
Beware of hidden charges in IDFC First Bank. Last year when I opened ₹5000 MAB Vishesh account there, the debit card issuance fees were listed as nil and there was no mention of annual fees. Later on they quietly revised the pages, made the issuance charges ₹500+GST for debit card, and annual charges ₹300+GST, didn't inform customers of any revisions in charges (which is mandatory as per RBI rules - 30 days notice must be given).
Even worse, they retroactively charged my account ₹500+GST although it was opened months earlier when they had "nil" debit card issuance fees. It was only after complaints, escalation and threatening to complain to RBI that they reversed the DC issuance charges. But this is so wrong. There should be absolute transparency in charges. They are again not mentioning annual charges in this offer.
