Update 1 : I have sent out mail to regional nodal officer ( [email protected]) asking for upgrade.

Update 2 : Idfc came back asking for last 3 months payslips and account statement, I have mailed those to them just now.
I upgraded my first select to wealth few months back. My select credit limit was 3L, they asked few documents(3 months payslips, bank statement) and increased limit to 5L and immediately upgraded to wealth variant.
If your select variant limit is more than or equal 5L, mostly upgrade will be smooth.
it has 3 lakh limit, my amex cc has more than 5 lakh limit , I have attached that statements in my mail. Let's see what they respond.
Isn't Select Better if spends are low? You can get 10x way faster in it as the threshold is lower.
For bigger spend, obviously wealth would be better but I generally use others for that

IDFC Wealth CC upgradation is impossible but you can try.
Some successful users closed their select CC and applied for wealth after 6 months using c2c (hdfc, axis ccs with 10+ lakh CL) with different mobile number.
