IDFC Privilege banking (SELECT)
I have received an email for upgrading my IDFC classic account to the privilege banking program, and based on my AMB, I think I will be eligible for the IDFC First Select account.

Is there any special benefit to join this program? or any hidden charges that anyone knows?

The debit card offers you lounge access with a companion at the airport. It is pretty helpful for me. There are no charges.

I too got upgraded to select account few months back..you will get a new blue debit card ( I didn't receive because communication address needs to be changed which requires bank visit and no nearest branch)

No charges hence I recommend to upgrade. No drawbacks.
You will get reward points for the first transaction from select dc. Check tnc for minimum transaction value.
Dedicated RM, Higher dc limits, Domestic Airport lounge access. Premium Customer support, Video Banking and chat services.
You can withdraw the funds and the ac will still be part of the relationship banking program.
The wealth program is great as you get a free locker from your branch basis of availability.

One more thing if someone family member already upgraded to first select , he or she can request the member to contact RM and add account as part of family banking programme.
