“Mr. Modi has effectively mobilized those Indians who have long felt marginalized and humiliated by India’s self-serving Nehruvian elite into a large vote bank of ressentiment.” After India independence India was made a secular country despite the fact the partition was on the basis of religion. Many Hindu organisation wanted India to be a Hindu country which was rejected and India incorporated secularism. Well I personally fell that decision to adopt secularism was a good decision but over decades the secularism has just turned into more like muslim appeasment. Every political party tries to appease muslims just to get their vote bank and to remain in power.
I would say every political party playing with Hindu and Muslims, they learned the Divide and Rule very well.
After India independence India was made a secular country despite the fact the partition was on the basis of religion.
Muslim logon ko desh se alag kr diya gaya (whoever is responsible Jinnah or Nehru) and we became secular.. seriously!!
Cant think how big we would hv been if we would hv got Independence without partition.

The author seems to be a master of hyperbolic vocabulary and tends to simplify and twist facts to suit his argument…just like a 5 yr old in the morning trying to avoid school
