India has overtaken Brazil to become the country with the second-highest number of Covid-19 cases. Brazil now has 4,137,606 Covid-19 cases and the United States has the maximum number of cases at 6,460,250.
India, which now is the second-worst hit country in the world, recorded the highest number of cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) globally at 90,802 in the last 24 hours, according to the Union health ministry on Monday.
The countryâs infection tally is now at 4,204,613. India has overtaken Brazil to become the country with the second-highest number of Covid-19 cases.

In terms of daily new cases, India is now World No 1. All other countries, incl Brazil and USA, have much lower numbers. All countries except India showing decreasing trend of daily new cases, which indicates that they have contained the spread. Only India is showing increasing trend, proving utter failure on part of Govt.

to bring back few thousand people entire population of 150 crores put on stake by irresponsible. Where are paid media now which was cursing our neighbors for not bring their students back from Wuhan and going ga ga with India bringing back students etc although later on all were left stranded overseas with lockdown, which shd happen at very first place. Timing of lockdown and decision to bring back could have been well planed.

From May 15th in front of my house there is a âaloo chat vendorâ on street. Majority of the people never used mask or sanitizer. From July there were only a miniscule percentage wearing mask.
Public also has to show initiative & urge to fight this pandemic collectively. This is an infectious disease hence even if 70 % people are following norms then rest 30% are enough to spread infection. Introspection should be done at every level whether itâs centre, state, district or individual on how to fight this disease.

I ll give you guys my experience. A pregnant lady got infected during her routine checkup. Well three houses got quarantined, including ours. We all got tested, nobody came positive. The woman delivered a healthy baby, both are alright. Non of her family members got contracted, including her elderly in-laws.
Now quarantine is over. And I am running every alternate days. đđđđ

COVID-19 handling has been a mess from the start. First, the dreaded lockdowns where the poor were left fending for themselves in a world which was already detached from their hardships. Second, the impact on already dwindling economy was not taken into consideration during the initial phases of lockdown.
A country like ours, given the limited resources, should always prioritize what matter the most to its public. We are not a developed economy and thus, our actions â in response to the virus â should have reflected the same.

The daily record breaking figures are inversely proportional to the arrangements/ remedies made in the lockdown period and quite inline with the hardships the countrymen have faced during that.
