One should never go to other countries to show superiority. Not a wise move. Blood feuds last longer than regimes. Example. Muslims attacked India a lot of years back, Ashoka attacked Odisha 1000s of years back, English have left us couple of decades back.
We haven’t forgiven and forgotten them, yet. How long should we let this blood feuds go on. Someone has to stop this cycle.
Edit: I am not among those non violent types. I know violence is in my blood, I have found ways to live with it. But in the same time, I also understand the value of stability, right of people to lead a dignified life, a chance see own children growing up in peace the way they do in the west.
Instead of meddling with each other’s affairs, China, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Russia and India should form an Eurasian NATO equivalent. Combined forces will go and destroy pirates, terrorists, extremists. But it’s not going to happen, sadly

Well, I don’t think we can’t do much about it. Say we step into Afghanistan, and US ll be happy. Chinna will be unhappy. Russia might support us. But don’t forget it was Russia for which Taliban was formed in the first place. So, we have to support a communist lover regime to appease Russia. It ll be a proper cluster f*ck Sandwich among, US, China and Russia with India being in the middle. Afghanistan deserves better than this.

But the stance of Russia is totally changed , I think they are supporting Taliban,
Before stepping we have to take extra care, it may be a trap by US

It’s a long answer which I don’t have energy to write.

Taliban will steadily increase its dominance in Afghanistan with help of Pakistan – it’s already a solid force. This means trouble for Afghani civilian & security forces and eventually other countries. U.S will provide intelligence & technical support to Afghanistan forces. India should do the same without directly entering the war. At most training can be provided.

Remember Afghanistan has powerful factions other than Taliban who fight against Taliban. India can try to mobilize these smaller groups thus gaining a foothold without participating in war. Situation is bleak but no single entity can have total control in Afghanistan, not even Taliban if countries like USA & India provide training, arms & intelligence support to Afghanistan forces.

But why should we have to interfere in Afghanistan

us govt buys lot of their home made weapons, a significant percentage of their gdp is spent on defense , obviously they couldnt leave them to collect dust, they had to utilize these arms some where, so they have reason to buy even more, and keep the cycle running. Afghanistan was their testing site. so in a way US is securing their jobs, weapon industry and economy

while India have nothing like that, we manufactures nothing. all our artillery comes from foreign. We spend that ammunition in that desert instead of protecting our selves n buy and import even more? makes no sense

India should not step to a country which do not yield any benefits..

Moreover the mighty US took 18+ years ,still unfinished the job . I think it’s foolishness for us if step on the shit left by US
