Need to get death certificate of a elderly in laws relative from berhampur municipality odisha
it has been couple of years since passed & No medical discharge certificate available as this happened in home
how to approach to get this certificate after many years please suggest

normally death certificate is generated at the cremation ground

see if there is a online way , else the usual way of going to municiple office and shelling money

OR
relevant health officer or authorised/ designated person from the municipal government gives the letter that yes, issue the death certificate for so and so.
Or
connections and/or bribes to brute force the system and get the current dated or back-dated certificate.
Option two might be easier, financially cheaper too, than option one.
But option one (affidavit in front of court) is relatively failsafe.
