For NPS, use Axis Ace for 1.2% effective cashback using billdesk gateway.

Is there any difference for tax saving, between I manually adding money to NPS account created by me VS company deduction?

No difference. You get deduction under same section in both cases for self contribution 80CCD(1)/(1B).

For employers contribution, deduction is given under 80CCD(2).

Yes
Tier-II doesn’t give any tax exemption though, unless the person is central government employee, and takes taxsaver with 3 year lock-in.

80CCD(1) is within the limit of 1.5 lakh. (1B) is upto 50k, over and above 1.5 lakh. You can claim 50k first under (1B) and then excess contribution if any is claimed within 1.5 lakh limit.

Employers contribution is always allowed as deduction separately u/s 80CCD(2).
