but windows 10 automatically changes it to

this is despite the fact that in windows update receive updates for other ms products option is not selected. although windows updated the drivers about a month back intitally but this problem started about 10 days ago. what this does is it disconnects internet most of the time saying no internet, although wifi stays connected with phone. in phone the internet works fine. reinstalled windows but again it updates the driver to ms now also after sometime but even if the drivers are still on tp link driver this problem occurs now also i.e. now this problem shows up even if the drivers are from tplink. sometimes the roll back drivers option is greyed out if the drivers are updated to microsoft. why is this happening and how to resolve this? and thru usb cable how to share internet from iphone 6 with pc as an alternative?

It seems like your cousin is experiencing a common issue where Windows 10 automatically updates the drivers, causing the TP-Link WN725N adapter to malfunction. Here are some steps to resolve this issue:

  1. Disable Automatic Driver Updates: Go to Control Panel > System and Security > System > Advanced system settings > Hardware tab > Device Installation Settings. Select “No (your device might not work as expected)” and save changes. This will prevent Windows from automatically updating drivers.
  2. Reinstall TP-Link Drivers: Uninstall the current driver on the computer first, then download the latest driver for the TP-Link WN725N from the TP-Link official website12. Make sure to choose the correct hardware version. Turn off any firewall or antivirus software during the installation3.
  3. Use a Different USB Port: Sometimes, the issue might be with the USB port. Try inserting the adapter into a different USB port4.
  4. Update Network Adapter Driver Manually: Go to Device Manager > Network Adapters, find the TP-Link adapter, right-click and select “Update driver”. Choose “Browse my computer for drivers” and then “Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer”. Select the TP-Link driver from the list.

If the problem persists, you might want to consider using a different adapter or contacting TP-Link support for further assistance.

As for sharing the internet from an iPhone 6 to a PC via a USB cable, here are the steps:

  1. Connect your iPhone to your PC via a USB cable5.
  2. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Personal Hotspot and turn it on6.
  3. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes on your PC. When you see an alert that says, “Trust this computer”, tap Trust5.
  4. Your PC should now be able to access the internet through your iPhone’s cellular data7.

Please note that using your iPhone’s cellular data for internet access on your PC might incur additional charges, depending on your mobile data plan6. It’s always a good idea to check with your mobile carrier about any potential fees or data usage concerns. Hope this helps! 😊
