Yes, you are right. Its completely unethical

Yes, it's unethical and the government/political parties support it cuz it brings them big money.

I don't have an iota of respect towards greedy, lying politicians but it's an eye opener when I see "celebrities" of all kinds endorsing such things.

Money is never enough for them :/

When people play, they pay 28% gst (on adding money to wallet), if they win they pay income tax, if they lose then they add more and hence, pay more taxes. The companies anyway pay income tax on their commission. 

So, govt has heavily taxed this industry since this financial year, it won't survive long. It's only lasting till companies have money. Small value fantasy gaming might still exist but poker, rummy, will die out soon.
