Genuine. You can also go to the bank to get it done.
Is it a rekyc fraud or real ?

real.
recently i am seeing all banks doing rekyc for most of the bank accounts & credit cards
i think there should have some option to continue with the last kyc details instead of submitting the new one (it was the case for UCo & hdfc banks)
Now what, will they close card?
Is there online option for doing these rekyc of the various banks
Yes
There is option for Re-KYC in IndusInd bank netbanking & mobile app.. under service request.
Re-KYC option available in SBI cards app also.
BOB also have option for online Re-KYC using Vkyc(google search for link)
Why there is need to do kyc again?
I just completed RE KYC for SBI card which was easy process just photo upload and digilocker verification. if your card more than 3 years old then they may ask you to complete re kyc
I was asked by Amex to renew kyc for both primary and addon cards which were 2 years old. An url was provided to upload one address proof document .
SCB asked me to visit their branch though I had done my kyc in their branch in dec-2021 (card was inactive due to non-usage). Since they denied online kyc (they have a policy of online acknowledgement if there is no change in kyc document) though I was eligible for online ack , decided to close my card after 17 years of association
As long as you can verify if the email if genuine (call cc or email them) , you can do re-kyc online as per their instructions.
I have also got this message but I don't care even if they close my card as I don't use it such useless credit card
Its a Fraud Because Its asking For Credit Card Number and Bank Never Asks for That.
Yes but rekyc is a fact
