I opened a digital savings account for my mother and she got an ATM card for free (no issuance or annual charges)
My savings account is old and opened via branch, can i get an ATM card without issuance or annual charges?
Im aware of free virtual card but i need the physical ATM card because of some of the IRATA features.

There is no issuance fee but you'll be charged 147rs after the year ends
I hope annual charges are deducted from account after year gets over. And card should be activated for such deduction.
Hotlist physical card and then generate a virtual card. You will not be charged and it will help you in online purchases.
Cash withdrawal through ATM can be done by using Yono app, so no physical card needed.
Physical card will only be a necessity if you are need it for offline card swipe purchases at store.
There is one more way, you can contact branch and convert your account into salary account. Once it is converted to salary account then even if you will not receive salary for months in that account, they will not be going to convert it back to savings account. ( Requirement: Receive salary in that account for at least 1-3 months, Your office ID card)
