Guidelines changes frequently, check airport website one week prior to travel, you will get updated info. Yesterday i arrived at Bengaluru airport and no check was done.

It seems like most states need it..only few exceptions. See
under “DOMESTIC ADVISORYhttps://www.newdelhiairport.in/c...19

This says otherwise
https://www.civilaviation.gov.in/sites/default/...

For Karnataka
KarnatakaThermal screening & Health Profiling of all passengers
COVID swab test for symptomatic passengers
COVID swab test for passengers seeking quarantine exemption

..so flyer experience mentioned does not match rolleyes

Some people should be thankful to China and COVID that they got new business of testing labs. Atleast 25 new blood testing and other labs opened up in my vicinity. All are always full

Always refer to this for the official guidelines (it’s updated in real-time). However many a times, the ground reality is different; at least in most of the northern states/cities airports arrival XD

haha. Think of those who lost their livings due to this crap from China. Those who got badly affected are 4 times more than those who get a new way of earning.

Yes, that’s the dark thing… I have literally seen people who were fully vaccinated but didn’t have a -ve rtpcr and since that Airport didn’t even have a facility to get it checked on the fly, they weren’t allowed to board the flight. Some places, especially South Indian cities Airport follow the rules pretty strictly (unlike many North Indian cities, for which rules are just on paper), so it’s better to get your report before you board. Last time (a month back) I travelled Pune-Blr and back, both the places the reports were checked; and with this new Omicron, better to get the reports if the rules ask for it as per guidelines.

If you are not going to exit the airport then I think it’s not required. What is your final destination?

If that’s the case i’ll be at the lounge itself. My final destination is Cochin.
