Hi, currently i am using tikona 399/- 30 mbps but there customer support is shit. Moreover i need to get some dth channels too. I came across jio fibre postpaid plan of 599/- plus gst. It gives me unlimited 30mpbs which i hope would be better than that of tikona and 200(plus tax) for disney+ hotstar, sony live, zee5 etc. Any other better option around same price range or some tips and tricks for new connection are welcomed.

Take Airtel Xtreme 499 plan. It's worth it. Jio's 399 plan is worth it.

Plan 199 is for new users, bhai. 😔 It's true at least for Jio.

For avg home user Jio is better than airtel. Their stb is slick and ₹199 pack (inbuilt in 599) is unbeatable.

For voice too use of app for landline calls is another advantage.

Airtel Xtreme has one such plan. If you have Airtel axis card you gonna need to pay 300 for internet n 300 for tv. But that's after adjustment of cashback obtained via Airtel Axis card.

Rs.599 Jio Fiber is worth taking since you need DTH, they will provide an STB with OTT subscriptions and a landline/calling facility.

Also, 6 months plan costs Rs 3000 in total (500/month), while monthly 499 costs around 590 with GST. Is this the same everywhere?

If you opt for six months -

Free installation (router is free on all plans)

Six months 40 Mbps @ Rs.3000

-----------

You'll also get Rs.300 voucher(only on referral) usable on next recharge - Airtel Prepaid Sim or any other Airtel recharge.

Yes bhai. Airtel Axis Card ll bring monthly cost to 442.5 rupees per month. If one is enjoying dth them effective cost ll come down to 300 per month for dth and 300 for 40 Mbps internet. Yes, once they devalue Airtel axis card we ll face problems.
