Jio network issues?

Same happening. Even i full network areas voice cuts happening. Not reachable coming sometimes. And they are marketing 5G. 4G is like 2G so 5G will be 2.5G..nice marketing

Same here in Kolkata.Facing this problem from last 2 years.No resolution despite complaining several times.In evening time,it gets worsen.

I heard disgruntled employee cut  lot of jio cables are n mumbai. I think it is result of that issue

Started happening for me after 5g rollout.

I am also facing the same issue from Wednesday... I found that it is due to network change i.e. 5g to 4g Or vice versa.. Now from afternoon, I have set my network to 4g only.. And now not getting any missed call message means working fine but unable to get benefits of 5G....one more observation.. Call is connecting in 4G mode only.... even you are on 5g but when you dial a number your network changed to 4G.

Reliance Jio users in Mumbai had to face network issues (outage) for two days recently. The internet and tv cable connectivity was down. The issue affected around 2500 customers of the telco. The reason behind the outage was a disgruntled employee who had been cutting the optical fibre cable (OFC) of the telco at multiple sites.

According to a report from TNN, the disgruntled employee, who was transferred from the Goregaon site to Borivli, had been cutting the OFC out of resentment. An FIR has been registered against the employee, the report mentioned. Jio has not said anything officially about this yet. The issue was noticed on November 27, 2022, at 4:30 pm. Rajendra Mohite, a senior technician with a vendor of Reliance Jio, had got an alert from Jio servers that a site was down at SV Road, Goregaon. When Mohite's team arrived at the location, they found that the OFC was cut.

You should also check by putting your jio sim in another device. Sometimes phone also show fake network but it's hardware fault.

The place where i live has a tower closeby so the network is always full irrespective of the device.

Got call from Jio after sending porting sms. The guy explained some issues with the old sim cards that is happening post 5g rollout , he asked me to go to the nearest Jio store and ask them to replace my sim with a "Green Sim" and the issue should resolve itself. Not sure what a green sim is but i guess will try that.

Went to my nearest jio store but apparently it's in great demand and won't be available for atleast 2 weeks. 💀
