I really do not understand one thing pointed out by several people – monopoly.

There are 4 freaking huge companies in the market right now, how exactly is that monopoly? Or even duopoly?
Things may head towards duopoly (because 2 out of 4 companies are not able to provide good experience to users) is still understandable but monopoly?

Wasn’t Airtel here the first one to raise prices? Isn’t Airtel already everywhere in India where Jio is as well as more expanded in therms of DTH & Fiber?

No one bat an eye when Swiggy/Zomato had their rounds of ending competition by buying everyone like TastyKhana etc.
All are okay now with Byju because SRK is doing ads for it despite the fact is Byju is buying out every possible EdTech company and filing cases against individuals who speak against hazardous work culture at Byju. Here if few small companies got bought out because they were not able to match upto big players in terms of technology, everyone is like omg monopoly!

I am in rush to recharge 2 device.. fking alreddy 2 airtel was hedache now jio.. koi bsnl ka batao bhai.. ye sarkari pata nahi kis kone me hai..

They all are doing business not a charity…and for survival they need higher arpu. And yes due to low arpu we are left with only 3 operators ( dont count bsnl, it almost dead)…Indian market is highly competitive…
So stop calling airtel a chorrtel and jio a looter…if you have sympathy then port to bsnl na…u like service of a particular operator and for that they are charging.
Jab jio free tha toh amabani ke pass paisa hai he can do such thing..and when he is following the trend of telecom market, then ambnai is looting.

Ps – dont curse me coz u hate jio/airtel/vi…m not a follower of any single company…in my area airtel serves better so m having it as my network operator…

2121 rupees recharge done i had 142 rupees in my jio cashback 20% offer and got 50 rupees cashback via amazon pay upi so effective price is 1929 rupees for 336 days

Sending sms is become pain, NPCI should introduce call authentication service, otherwise it is not wise to use upi, for you alone I had to spend money on unlimited call packs containing sms now it’s unbearable now, better use imps or neft,
