So 399 for the Internet and 489 for the OTTs (+ GST).
Is this even profitable? won't it be better if one takes OTTs he likes separately, some will be hugely discounted or free too.
Also can't see this 888 on my prepaid plans list.

Jio postpaid users on plan 399+200ott can opt for it
Also apart from ott if one has jiostb can seamlessly view 800+ channels via jiotv+ (usefull for senior family members )

Let's not forget the ads situation here. Before there were ads in zee5 or Disney shows but now they are showing ads even in live channels(in hyderabad tv9 and etv channels). This is too much BS to take

Got air fibre connection this month. So many issues. Frequent disconnects. Poor customer service. Turnaround time for a complaint is 3 days. Not working with VPN - some issue with config, not yet resolved. TV works with little bit of buffering sometimes. Waste router, not configurable much. Internet isn't reliable. Regretting taking 6 months plan. 1000gb per month limit. Switched to another ISP.

Jio has these irritating ads in the set-top box these days, it takes 15 to 30 seconds before the program or the app launches.

I recently ( jan 2024) upgraded my airtel broadband ( 40mbps unlimited) only to airtel black with dth. Plan costs 699+gst. ~358 channels out of which 18 HD channels. Lionsgate, sonyliv, disney+hotstar and some other ott channels free for one year (complimentary.)

No advancement, postpaid month on month
The settop box is little laggy attimes

I have friends with that jio 599 plan, who are very happy.
Also 30mbps vs 40mbps. Pick as per your needs
