Laptop suggestion for further studies around 1 lakh

Hello, I am looking for laptop suggestions. My brother will be joining IIT under CS branch in a month and hence require a good laptop for his BTech. Would you please suggest some good options. I am willing to extend my budget upto 1 lacs for the same.
I do not have much idea on the minimum requirements but I am assuming to get 16gb of RAM and 1 TB SSD.
Moreover if one could emphasize on whether We should opt for MacBook Air or stick to Windows as that might be more beneficial in Coding stuff.

Those who think standalone gpu are for games . Vo log gpu ke bare me ghanta🔔 kuch nahi jante.
That's thing is built for process graphics/data/ai intensive works..
Recently Nvidia became most valuable company.. apple is always overrated prodocts.Buy any latest gen Intel powered laptop having 6gb graphics memory. U will get iti. 70k-100k. That laptop will beet even a 150k macbook Btw congratulations for being IITian's bro.,

I am saying from my exp, any Mac with an M chip is 5 times better than alternatives.
If he is in tech and doesn't want to play games, just go with mac according to your budget.
Here are some trick you can use to reduce price -
1. if you know someone coming from abroad just try to ask them to bring you one
2. if you know someone who has shop/ GST no. take on the GST bill, he will adjust tax it in his expenses.
3. Go in delhi JN market, there are many sellers who sell imported apple products, compare the price, and make sure you take a bill and verify serial no. on Apple website. Apple have worldwide international warranty so it wont affect you, if its imported.
