It has less to do with inflation and more due to lower production and shifting towards more easy to do agricultural products
lemons are like lifetime crop. What else is easier than 🍋
what happened to the grown lemon trees? Are they still there or chopped off?
In my place the life of lemon tree is 10-15years. So it cannot happen all of sudden. Thats my point.

Prior to this Green Chilly prices soared like mad.
And, before that Dhaniya was rare item.

Lemons rates started decreasing but will stay to some extent as its summers .
In the last 2 years bought lemons for Rs 10 everytime 10 to 15 pieces .
But this month it has reached to Rs 10 for a single small lemon .
Thankfully its steadily from last 2 days selling Rs 10 for 2 lemons and Rs 20 for 5 lemons and size is also comparatively bigger than last 20 – 25 days.
But summers so cant expect older prices for as of now.

Well, some reasons could be inflation and all, but mostly it’s just because of land being reduced for agriculture.
Great we shan’t feel shy to pay more for lemons. It helps towards development. I feel the lemon price is still cheap, it should be atleast sold at Rs.10000 per KG.
