Not able to find details about any protective coating on fins on this voltas model and no pcb warranty mentioned anywhere for this voltas model
I want less maintenance and more durability. Ofcourse 5 star means more savings. Midea is not having pcb warranty and not sure about any protective coatings on midea.
If you have any better deal pls suggest. Budget<35k

Take from offline stores. Installation ll be either free or under 850.
About the warranty on the main circuits/PCB. Midea Haier Huawei now fare much better than the 'average Chinese manufacturers', because they do have an outward looking philosophy.
Ummm I mean despite the sanctions, post the (state sponsored) bounce back.. Honour (Huawei) trying to whoop Apple's 🍑.. kinda surprised me.
Also these johnnies now own numerous former good brands like G.E., Toshiba, Carrier and so on.
So instead of just the 'PCB warranty' concern, one might want to look at whether Carrier/Midea, Haier/ Toshiba have a proper (local) agency handling their after-sales support/ service/ repair in the specific town/region.
Although no direct exposure to Bluestar Voktas, Midea/Haier in the past 10-12 years, I suppose the failure rates on their components (especially the main logic boards) are not that high. And a stabiliser with good range can help too.
Having said all this, (besides 'Bharat Mata ki Jai'/ China Mata ki parajay) Bluestar have donkey's years of experience of handling the power situation in this country and innovating/tweaking their products based on that and based on the consumer expectations.
And although the same could be said about Voltas too, we have personally witnessed (in the last major heatwave 7-8 years back) that Bluestar ones did not fail even when mercury hit 44°-45°.
window acs are out of market?
Bluestar from above 3
Why not LG 1.5 ton 3 Star ?
competitors are giving 5000+ Watt cooling capacity.
5275.28 Watt -> 1.5 ton
basically true 1.5 ton acs are rare especially in 3 star segment, Daikin FTKT being an exception (rare model).
do not buy panasonic ac.
their installation is very bad. they will spoil your wall. full of unnecessary holes and drilling in wall.
After 2 years usage, you will start seeing water leakage.
Daikin ac my father purchased offline, had the best installation.
Also do remember installation charges in both panasonic and Daikin was 8k.
Purchased this at 33k
5 yrs PCB Warranty
Limited-time deal: Carrier 1.5 Ton 5 Star AI Flexicool Inverter Split AC (Copper, Convertible 6-in-1 Cooling,Dual Filtration with HD & PM 2.5 Filter, Auto Cleanser, 2024 Model,ESTER Exi, CAI18ES5R34F0,White)
How 33k?
Lg 5 star ac buy close your eyes for 10yrs.
Installation is little cumbersome attimes. But better than any AC in market. My personal experience
I have checked many LG models are having lower cooling capacity as compared to others... 4600W vs 5000W
Have you bought any?.I am at the same stage of confusion..
