Bhai logs from today morning I lost smell in all products , even I could not smell coffee or haldi , but my taste buds are ok I can feel sweet bitter hot cold , no other symptom no fever no body aches only feeling lathargic.
Is this an early signs of covid ? If yes by what time I can expect other symptoms to pop up and what should I do to keep myself least effected or to recover as early as possible.
I took covid-shield shot on 11 of this month besides that I have not gone out from home and have no exposure to any one expect family members.
Isolated , taking steam 2 time , having coronil , walking as usual eating healthy with lots of fluids

As per some experiences from some of my contacts, they lost the taste too completely. So I guess it’s not corona. In any case do watch out for any breathlessness feeling or if you have oximeter, keep checking oxygen levels
Gr8 got some relief , no such breathless feeling oxigen level is around 97-98.
As per my personal experience, you are most probably infected. we do not lose complete smell from common cold. As for symptom, Its different for everyone. I was tested positive in first wave and lost smell, taste as well as had slight fever.
Note: Get tested and act accordingly.
keep a check of your oxygen…. get test done…… isolate yourself ……. if unfortunately positive please start the course

I too had a cold a couple of weeks back. The cold was really severe. I had taken first dose of vaccine in mid of feb. Awaiting for the second one. But after that cold, till now i have lost the sense of smell (mostly) ( if there is a very strong smell then i can feel otherwise cannot). The cold is gone but still the loss of smell is there.
Have you got the test done ?
First, isolate yourself.
Only a test can confirm if you’re infected. Don’t stress. Keep yourself hydrated & rest. Monitor your oxygen level.
Do you cough?
My suggestion, get tested. Assume you have it, and isolate.
It’s better to miss a day or two, than to around and spread it by mistakenly.
No cough , I am not going anywhere already isolated.
If you can’t get the taste of anything and the smelling sense is also lost then it’s COVID. if COVID then this will continue for 30 or more days. I myself faced this for more than 60 days, it was very worst at some moment I also felt it is permanent.
Taste is ok , only smell is gone.
Loss of smell is the most trustworthy signal of Covid, even more reliable than than RTPCR which is giving wrong results in some cases, according to presentation given by AIIMS director to Health ministry. Better book an RTPCR test immediately, because there is a waiting of at least 5 days in Delhi, result should come in 3 days. In my area results of Covid ard awaiting for almost 6-7 days.
Situation is going to deteriorate in near future, better be prepared. Online RTPCR test booking has disappeared, Covid medicine is no longer available on any online site.

do 3 blood test turant 3 turant lal path charhes 750, thyro care 500 for all 3 which are crp, esr and cbc. if crp is higher than say 4-5 and you have no prior inflammatory issue like back pain, arthiritis etc, if your esr is not 10 but above say 15 or worse, double you age, if lympho in cbc is at low level start your mrdicines.

Covid bro. 99% sure. Do a RTPCR test. Then take medical attention from doctors.
Seeing complexity of cases and various mutants, it is most stupidious thing to do rtpcr 1st and consult doctor next bro, please avoid such advices. 1st is to isolate, call or sms doctor, consult on telemedicine done by govt or many pvt hospitals and start medicine as soon as possible. Rtpcr reports have huge backlog. I had my sources in icmr still it took 4 days to get positive and 2 negative reports of family member, tests where we did, people were complaining that reports have not arrived on sms from 10-12 days. So by the time person waits for reports, virus attacks other parts too.
Everyone should
1. Isolate
2. Consult doc
3. Take preventive medicines given by most docs
4. Take gargles, steam, vitamins etc
5. Do blood test viz cpr, esr and cbc on 1st to 3rd day of symptom
6. Then go to rtpcr
7. If oxygen is degrading, do a ct scan on 5th day without fail
Also, chances of getting virus at rtpcr is more than staying at home and follow what doc says. Blood report will anyways tell if there is some seriousness in body, inflammation or not.

No. Covishield does not have smell or test loss. Aap din ba din der kar rahe ho jaise baaki sab kar rahe hain. Dd par sawal poochne ki jagah sahi kaam karo bhaiya. Yahan 90% log wo hain jinko karona ka ka bhi nahi pata aur ulti seedhi salah dene mein lage hain. Agar covid se paar pana hai to koi bhi chhota bada symptom ho, dawa chalu kar do.
Also, allergy symptoms jyada common hain post vaccine aur allergy, cold is mausam mein bahut aam hai. Naak behna, mavad ke sath cough, awaj baithna, bukhaar jo 3 din mein utar jaye aise kuch symptoms covid ke nahi hote cold ya allergy ho sakti hai. Google allergy, cold and covid difference. Bahut article mil jayenge. Lekin vaccine se generally allergic reactions jyada ho rahe hain. Kuch logon ko bas covid related normal symptoms aate hain.
Take ayurvedic products too. Giloy, ashwagandha, raw turmeric, amla powder, triphala. Can take patanjali coronil too to boost immunity. Even covid negative can take coronil and make their body strong for future

, today after almost 10 days I got my smelling sense back not 100% but around 60% ie I can sense haldi or coffee or camphor but with deep breath
To be precise I lost the smell no other symptoms got home isolated took general vitamins along with steam and gargles , after 6-7 days I got myself tested Rt-Pcr which is negative and now today I am 100% fit with no symptoms or problem.
