Majority of people on Desidime just post links to products (Flipkart, Amazon, and other sites) even after knowing that the ratings of some of those products is 1star or 2star. They do it just for the sake of posting or getting upvotes or Karma.
Please make it compulsory to post rating of the product while posting a product deal on Desidime. A decent number of Desidime users won’t even click the link if they see that the product ratings are terrible. Currently, We get to know about the ratings only after we visit the product page.
I believe this can increase the efficiency, plus it is time saving, as well as a lot of users here must be wanting this feature. Those who don’t care about buying fake products or bad products won’t care about ratings on Desidime. So, i see it as a win win for all of us.
Another suggestion : Maybe during posting, an option can be provided to add rating. Less than 10 lines of code can add this feature.
Note : 1. Please tag admins
2. Comment your views on this.
3. Admins please transfer this thread to question & suggestion section
4. Maybe a category option while posting a deal. If the deal is for a single product, user has to select option “Single Product”, and then an option will pop up where he will have to provide a rating for the product. If the deal is a list of products, he can select the category “Multiple products”, then he won’t be asked to provide a rating. This too would require very less changes in code.

Thats great suggestion for admins… But may be it will be difficult to implement.. As mostly we get deals not for a specific products but for list of products in songle post… And as oftenly people copy from some channels(dont get offend) they also will not give their more time to check for ratings… So this all has to be dome from admins team
That’s a great suggestion bro, I hope admin team will look into it
Note: request admin to transfer the thread in question & suggestion section
Good thoughts.
But, for some items there will be only 2-3 reviews with 1 star rated.
It may be bad delivery or late delivery somewhat like.
What if the item is good?
Just because it was delivered late or something people rate it 1 star…
Just said in my view.
I think those people who decide to buy something from e-commerce platforms even after seeing a 1-2 star rating, they won’t care about the ratings on Desidime.
Also, hardly people post links to products with such a less rating. But i do respect the issue you raised. I hope anybody comes up with a solution for that too.
what if u get a laptop of rating 1 in price Rs.69?
Look! Those who are looking for good and genuine products won’t fall for it. Also this was just a suggestion. And the reason i suggested because majority of the times , i don’t end up buying anything through the product link on Desidime because the ratings are so bad. I don’t know why people even post it. Why suggest a bad product to someone?
IMO i think its much more easier if we all as a community comments on such deals (many times we do it as seller rating is low, product reviews are bad and so on). And also wont our own voting system will help. suppose a deal with 0 hotness & a deal with 200 or 500+ hotness does highlight its worth & dimer’s liking.
Talking about the voting system, that is good enough for popular deals. Suppose, someone posted a deal about a Pigeon stove, as you might expect this deal won’t have either hotness nor much of the votes, because of the demand obviously, but suppose i needed it, and i click on the link, found out that the ratings were terrible, it could turn out that ratings were good, as i said votes on dd can’t speak for ratings of every product. I hope i cleared it.
Disagree with this. Though it should be complusory to mention New Seller (if the seller is new) or if the website is kinda shady.
Good suggestion
