Hey dimmers,
There are lot of these Handheld Massages avaible on Amazon in every price bracket & with a lot of paid/fake reviews -
chossing a reliable & affordable one is the biggest task before someone suggests you one from their personal experience.
So that’s what i’m asking, Can anyone suggest me a Handheld Massage either a gun type or the Cellulite one for tense muscles.

@khanabadosh Got it, what about this Caresmith Charge Active Corded one?
Lifelong is fine. Holding since more than a year
Hitachi Magic Wand is great. I don’t find em on Amazon/Flipkart. 😞😞😞

Those are now priced wayyyy unrealistically.

Although originally introduced by Hitachi and targeted for deep tissue therapy or muscle relaxation, current pop culture (over the decades) has established it as primarily for clitoral, vulval stimulation.

Even in 1970s, it was loud. Very loud.
But for what it claimed, it did its job well.
Registering the trademarks and patents in Murica, and the sales there
resulted in the ‘Magic Wand’ trademark gaining traction there.
And Americans being Americans🤦🏻♂️, they repurposed it.
There was a fairly long gap in between, when out of embarrassment the Japanese actually discontinued the entire line.
But alleged consumer demands and pressure from their own field teams, marketing whizzkids
resulted in a revival.

https://desidime.com/discussions/does-amazon-charge-you-extra-when-you-exchange-if-price-has-increased#post_8430898 @playdime (If okay for you to share, could you tell) Why was the Agaro massager returned?
i was talking about price difference and refund of differential amount. Not return refund on the other thread. It was ok product, not very good not bad.
Any massager for that matter below 5k range will give 50% relief. Not for acute pains as well. Human massage is best for pains is what i learnt. I bought it for my mother.
If little muscle strain or to give good flow of blood it helps. Nothing more. Dont expect miracle as mentioned in reviews.
any good back massager?
Which type of massager? If foot and calf then i can say agaro massagers are good.
Any face massager?
Osim should have.
Have used their eyes and temple massagers (prior to gifting).
https://sg.osim.com/product/category/Portable-Massagers
These aren’t cheap anymore, but we have had some of their products for twenty years now.
No major degradation after continued (occasional) use of 20+ years too.
If Osim’s S.E. Asian sites are opened from an Indian I.P. address, it might force re-route to OsimIndia dot com.
@Rituparnadas .. as @playdime mentioned above, one cannot expect much from these oblique shaped toy like devices.
While we’ve had old hand held (disk like) massagers, operated by CR123A type batteries, those designs and quality are no longer available.
Have a look at some offerings from Wahl, whether the stock here in India is from China or ___ ?
http://massagers.wahl.com/our-products/hot-cold-massage
Though I haven’t tried this exact Wahl ome, I’ve tried similar designs from others. https://us.wahl.com/Products/Home-Grooming/Massagers/Deep-Rolling-Shiatsu-Massager.aspx And I feel like it might serve better, wherever pressure has to applied.
Say sides of the knee or lower back or even buttocks.
When I said Wahl stock from China, I meant these type https://jiomart.com/p/electronics/wahl-deep-tissue-percussion-massager-blue-grey/591211911 massagers.
Nothing wrong if Wahl sources Indian inventory from China too, but personally
I am not a fan of this design.
The damn thing pivots, the fulcrum due to the length makes one hold it farther from the massage head attachments and overall it feels mehhh.. in effectiveness.
I am not marketing Osim.
But extend family and ourselves had used their massage chairs a few times and have had their foot and calf massagers for donkey years.
Back then, when we would ask Osim people; that why don’t you open agency or office in India.. they’d make faces. Sometimes told that they do not want they designs and products to get copied.
Irony! Now everyone copies everything!
@Rituparnadas But their innovations still stay a step ahead.
I personally request you to get any aged relative or person with even pains related to central nervous system conditions
try such hand/limbs massager https://sg.osim.com/product/category/Portable-Massagers/uSqueez-Hand-Hand-Massager at some of their offices or showrooms, if one can find this massager in India.
If importing this tried and tested “uPampers” from SG, do give proper details to the shop or the relative bringing it. https://sg.osim.com/product/category/Portable-Massagers/uPamper-Lite-Handheld-Massager
Back then, since we declared some stuff which was taken out of Singapore immediately (within a day or two) after purchase, they sent the refund of GST charged at the time of local purchase.
The paper cheque was sent on the address in the passport.🙂
Osim.
Someone suggested Vandelay 2000 but that has been out of stock for a while now.
