As a customer how can I find the mcc code associated with a particular merchant? Like is there any website where I can find merchant name to code mapping?
Many dc and cc t&c mention the excluded mcc code but there is no way to know for which site what is the mcc code. Please guide

Only After Transaction Is Settled We Can Guess MCC Code Depending On Cashback Amount Received... We Can't See MCC Code Before Or After Payment.

In U.S. https://usa.visa.com/content/dam/VCOM/download/merchants/visa-merchant-data-standards-manual.pdf VISAamd even MasterCard sometimes provide these details.
But here in India, I think only the internal people from relevant teams of the card network or the merchant themselves are aware of the Merch. Cat. Code.
If there is any easy way to access the right people within the merchant org., then maybe one can know.

Then what is the use of mentioning the mcc codes in the t&c exclusion list
