on the chance of getting some better opinions,
can anyone suggest a compact 14 inch, lightweight laptop (preferably 1.5kg around or less) which I can use for my daily driver?
the primary usage is for programming, so would be better if it has 16gb ram.

my budget is 75-80k.

I looked around but nothing fits my need within that price range, so asking for suggestions from other dimers who have a better idea in this domain to suggest some great deal.

Most likely no ram upgrade possible:

Probably the only laptop in this form factor with 16gb ram:

The swift series looks better, but I’m little skeptical about the acer’s quality.
I tried to search in ThinkPad series, but the good ones ( T14 series) are more than 1L

I also used to be skeptical about acer build quality a few years ago but nowadays it seems their build quality is good(in fact some say it is on an average better than lenovo & hp non-premium models). Don’t forget to buy 2 years extended warranty from acer site for ~2.2k so total 3 years warranty. Acer one major flaw is that they don’t allow user to open even a single screw on their laptops without the risk of voiding warranty.

so if I buy from amazon then can I buy a warranty separately for that laptop on the Acer website?
