1) insurance is a waste product 99% of time unless its term insurance for welfare of family (this term insurance also NOT NEEDED if you have some amount lying in bank account as safety then you dont need ANY insurance)

2) worst is gadget insurance you are asking about lol Sahil.Verma475 , gadget is worst depreciating asset, i am starting to call it as liability (depends on how you use your phone it can be either asset or liability but in my case it is liability) so no use to get insurance:) just get a new phone when the time comes, insurance is waste ESPECIALLY FOR GADGETS 

side note: dont fall for insurance trap, if you have money in bank account in FD like more than 5lakh that will be mostly enough for all the dangers of this world:)

Had very nice experience with flipkart jeeves (complete mobile protection) and one assist insurance. 

Took 4-5 claims, all resolved satisfactorily. 

But they charge a fee(excess fee) for claim around 5-10% pf invoice value.

Acko/quess care (any one of these) don't charge excess fee but I don't have first hand experience with any of these two.
