[Most Important] Jio Users - Your Confusions regarding Promotions
- FIFO Applies if you have queued recharges.
- If you already did Rs.303 then that would be treated as Rs.309 recharge.
- Only your second recharge is entitled for promotional validity of 56/84 days.
- From your third recharge, you will get normal validity.
- If you have already recharged two times then don’t go for Rs.399 plan as that would give you only 28 days normal validity.
Doubt: Have queued recharges, which would apply first ?
>> First In first out(First recharge would activate first)
Doubt: What would happen to old recharge of Rs.303 ?
>> All existing Rs.303 recharges would be treated as Rs.309 recharge and benefits would be provided when the recharge activates.
Recharge date isn’t considered while allotting promotional validity.
Consider these cases
First case – You did Rs.303 one time
You get 90 days of SSO expiring in July + 28 days
Second case – You did Rs.303 two times
You get 90 days of SSO expiring in July + 28 days
For second recharge of 303 you will get 56 days as 303 would be treated as 309 Plan
Third case – You did Rs.303 three or more times
You get 90 days of SSO expiring in July + 28 days
For second recharge of 303 you will get 56 days as 303 would be treated as 309 Plan
For third 303 recharge you will get 28 days normal validity
UPDATE: Official website now clearly indicates this.

Doubt: Am I eligible for 84 days and 56 days validity with Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer(JDDD)?
>> Only second recharge is eligible for said promotional validity, be it 56 days or 84 days.
So if second recharge is 303 >> you get 56 days
If second recharge is 309 >> you get 56 days
If second recharge is 399 >> you get 84 days
From third recharge you will get normal validity.
So if you do 303 + 303 + 399
You get,
First 303 – SSO Offer 90 days + 28 days
Second 303 – 54 days
Third 399 – 28 days only.
So if you have already recharged two times, better don’t do Rs.399 recharge
You will get 84 days validity on Rs.399 plan only and only if your second recharge is of Rs.399
Some Jio support guys were saying that we will get 56 + 84 days if we do 399 recharge after doing 303 2 times but after I complained to their support, they confirmed with their Supervisor and cleared this thing.
Question: Should I do Rs.399 recharge or wait for few more days ?
I would say wait as your first recharge would expire in August(90 SSO days + 28 days)
Jio may come up with new plans between this period.

I have recharged with PV 19 for 200MB data once when my daily limit exceeded (Though I confirmed this with CC that it will get activated that day itself but it didn’t)
My recharges – 402 then 19
Query – If I recharge before validity expiry with 309/399 will I get 56/84 validity (respectively).?

If 19 recharge isn’t in queue then you should get 56/84 days.
If 19 recharge is in queue then also you should get 56/84 days validity as this is data booster.
I’ve done first 149 recharge, then 303 in offer. And again 309 on 23 June. Today 149 plan got activated. If i exhaust all net under 149 plan today, will 309 plan get activated from tomorrow or not?? Completely confused . Thanks for timely thread. Pls reply

Rs.149 plan is monthly plan, so even if you exhaust all your data Rs.309 plan won’t activate
Either your main balance would deduct if you have any balance or you would get no internet connectivity until unless you recharge your Jio number with Data boosters…

Today I recharged my Airtel number with Rs 244/- plan from my Airtel App offer.
Rs 244/- plan offer giving 1gb per day for 70 days. But calling only free between Airtel to Airtel only.
I did this Recharge because I only need data, not doing much calls.
So, 244 plan is good for me.

If you reside in Udaipur better use RCOM 786 Plan, Rs.131 effective price per month and 1GB daily for next 180 days
Also if you purchase new RCOM sim and do Rs.149 FRC that would give you 1GB daily for 70 days + unlimited calls.

Airtel, Vodafone are coming up with these offer but they still aren’t clear with their regular plans pricing.

Reliance network issue in my area.
But good suggestion.

I left using RCOM one year back due to network issues but RCOM 4G is different
Reliance 2G/3G – 0 bars indoor
Reliance 4G – Full bars indoor
Do give it a try
Do network search with 4G phones with all bands ticked and see whether RCOM 4G is coming.
Let’s see if Ambani announces new plans tomorrow or not. Just got the extra 28 days for the 303 SSO, so I am good for 28 more days, not doing the 399 as of yet.
Yesterday My 303 plan activated after expiry of SSO, is there any way to recharge and instantly activate 2gb per day plan, i am ready to waste my 303 rs

Earlier it showed me as well but just now 303 plan got activated
So no free month…
Officially updated – that Rs.303 would be treated as Rs.309 for validity promotion
I had already recharged with 303 / 309 etc. earlier to enjoy continued services. What will happen to those recharges?
Jio believes in offering the complete benefits to its customers. Any 2nd recharge which has been done earlier and will become active in future will have validity and benefits as per new construct. For e.g. if you have done an additional recharge of Rs. 309, then you will now get benefit of 56 days instead of earlier promised benefit of 28 days for each recharge. Similarly for 303 plan, you get benefit of 56 days instead of 28 days
