I am a Mumbaikar and every time I need to get to/from the domestic/international airport in Mumbai with just one backpack and another bag, I spend Rs 10 in all - Rs 5 for a Western Railway local train from Lower Parel to Vile Parle and Rs 5 for a BEST bus from just outside Vile Parle station to the airport terminals. Even more remarkable is that I reach faster than any cab would!

Girgaum is right next to Charni Road station on Western Railway. So that is an option for you too.This doesn't work if you have a heavy checkin bag (relocating or travelling abroad) or you have impatient kids or elderly parents or people simply uncomfortable with local train and bus travel. Plus it is summer; so that's a factor too.

Compare Uber, ola and rapido rates - choose which one is lowest. Otherwise you are alone and comfortable, choose rapido, ola and uber auto by comparing their rates only thing you are to come out from airport with a small walk.
