Hi,
I want to know the process of getting HSRP Vehicle Number Plates (Also known as IND no plates) for old vehicles.
Some states have an online portal but I am unable to find anything for Maharashtra.
One local outlet quoted 800 for HSRP no plate along with hologram and unique code but I am not sure as I don't think they are authorized to provide it.
If any dimers replaced their old no plates to IND ones, kindly help.
Thanks

Online Facility to apply for hsrp is available only in few states like UP, Bihar, Delhi Haryana, Telangana, Andhra pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, HP, Punjab, Uttarakhand. In Maharashtra one has to visit the RTO office to apply. Fee is Rs 400 and 1100 for 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers.
Might be the sad reality.
Because weirdly, even in the sitemap https://transport.maharashtra.gov.in/site/Information/sitemap.aspx I too cannot find any online registration links.
(Site use too gaudy colour scheme, for my groggy eyes at midnight to scan much).
.
Odd that a state which gave itself the 'maha' tag, wishes one to go to one of THE most corrupt departments, for avoidable things too.
Might as well drop the 'maha' then, and call itself just 'rashtra'😄.

This is what I paid for Activa on 6th June 2022 (AGRA, UP) .

Thanks a lot Dimers.
So the solution in Mahahrashtra is to visit the RTO and make an application. Does anyone know if the plates are sent to the address or we have to visit the RTO again for collection?

Totally agree. Maharashtra has been one of the least efficient in these terms.
One thing I would like to highlight is that the driving license issuing process has improved at RTO Wadala in Mumbai. I went there without agent on my own and the process was smooth.

Yes ordered myself. Received plates home delivered in 10 days with unique code and color code.
It seems this website has services only for the states which already have an online portal implemented by the state govts so it doesnt make sense to have a third party when it is directlt avlbl online by govt. Not available for Mumbai
If we order it online. Who will fit it?
whom to contact if iam unable to find my city in makemyhsrp site
anyone recently applied for hsrp ?
