You have reached the debit freeze. This is the case when your account can only accept payments but no debit allowed. This is a security measure by Airtel to curb the fraud. We should welcome this move. Me myself was victim of same and the urgency was the same as urs, needed to pay bill.

Be informed that
- providing ur pan card and adhar does not mean that your are doing kyc
- you will have to provide the statement from ur source for last 5 transactions (if you have loaded from CC, screenshot of the statement showing the card mumber, your name, transaction ID).

Providing information along with pan card and aadhar will revoke debit freeze within a day for sure(my case).

Else you will have to follow up every now and then.

Faced same issue, the cc guy went to an extent saying this blocking will happen to everyone shortly when I asked why only this number blocked when all other numbers are working fine. And the account was unlocked after around a month after sending multiple emails to them, where their mail box got full and mails bounced back irony is they suggest to upgrade to airtel payments bank, which appears to be the sole motive of blocking these wallets

We should welcome this move Really?, are you out of your mind, don’t talk gibberish. . Tell me who has this much time to waste on this vexatious procedure?. First load money that you can’t use immediately, then provide docs and keep imploring them to unblock account, do they consider customer a imbecile, dolt person whom they can easily deceive in the name of security. And yes security, my foot, their prime concern is to deceit innocent customers and keep them howling perpetually and they wont give a damn. And @gaurav.dahiya you are appreciating such sham, con company and its deceiving policies slow claps for you man . I’ve been a victim of this disgusting company 3 times, every time I gave them a chance pondering they might’ve improved now, but they didn’t missed a chance to disappoint me. They are the most detritus company, who keeps on discovering new depraved techniques to rip people. the worst part is, how they approach on the complaints about the malpractices going on in their company, which denotes they are doing it deliberately. I wish they should die soon!.

No Sir…. Its not only my perception, its actuality of your beloved Company. And for your info, I never used this cheap, odious company from years. Okay now assuming that if my wallet was blocked not my bank a/c why to make a fuss?. First tell me that, why should I seek for other option when I have invested my money in a particular transaction?. And you proclaimed that you had patience, let me highlight this point here, you were calm and patient just because you had money in acc, but what about those who just have limited money and shortage of even 20-50rs will land them in big mess. You were calm since you had time and money with you, what if you only 2k in bank and it got stuck and today is date. I know their is always a risk factor concerned with online payments. Failed payments, money debited from bank, but these are the some unavoidable unforeseen cases. But in this case they are doing it deliberately. First tell me why are they allowing users to load a particular amount first if they wont allow to use it instantly, its not because of security. Meanwhile user struggles to figure out what happened and submits docs and it’ll take days to unblock till then they just want to eat interest on that amount, that’s it. And some newbie in this field wont even submit docs and will stop using online wallets and loose faith in those. I dont understand one thing why are you mindlessly supporting this company and its idiotic policies, its giving a feeling as if you are an ex or current employee of airtel or somehow related with this company.
