Mutual Fund Investment for NRI

Hello everyone. My friend is a nri and he already has Mutual fund investments via Paytm money. His account is a Savings account which he will be converting to nro in a month. Is there some things to keep in mind for his mutual fund investment. Any issues with the current investment, what steps should he do once the account is converted and any charges or extra taxes for future investments
