My returned items to Amazon are lost in transit & no refund

Returned due to poor quality, checked and took back... Was supposed to get on 24th oct, got delayed twice and now it's simply lost by them 😭

Isn't refund instant? After the pickup guy picks up refunds get issued.

Just send an email to escalation and jeff team. Call and chat have been sharing fake messages and promises. Shared all those on mail too.

I think its based on category or brand specific?

I returned a defective philips bulb, refund was instant. But when I returned a philips bluetooth speaker, refund was given when it reached final godown destination.

Again, undergarment was refunded instantly but kurta set refund only after seller received it.

Similar experiences throughout my long, online shopping experience. But first time, showing its lost in transit.

picked up on 19th right? if refund is not credited instantly wait for 13 days it's their new policy, after 13 days they will issue full refund.

I have got 3 different answers fron the lower team and it's hard to trust. Now just saying, things are gone from their side.

I'm not buying it, one time I returned a hardcover book which they lied and said I returned a different item. Got my money, when I send them the video footage of return pick up.

Their own inside staff has a lot of problematic people, including thieves in top to bottom level as based on news occasionally.

Customer Care will issue the refund as Amazon lost it and it was picked up from your end. It once happened with me as well, but it was not showing lost. Instead, the product was showing pickup and it was not going ahead. After 15 days, i filed complaint and they said they will issue my refund in 3 days, after 3 days i called them again and they issued my refund on call, immediately.

Dont worry, since it was already picked up ,so now u are not liable for it, whether it got .lost in transit or lost due to theft, u will get refund.

Don't worry @magur You are not responsible for the item anymore, even if it catches on fire or disappears into thin air. Amazon is liable. You will get your refund.

Its better then the other competition in India but definitely far away from being the safest and the best.

Problems and cases against Amazon India staff are on the rise. And their lack of respect to the products sold and customer feedback on rough handling is there for many to experience.

This whole sale is a scam & I don't know why it's still running...

These 3 items were in my cart & Amazon was sending me constant emails about leaving items in cart, as I didn't buy anything from these fake sales...

Can't add the "Update" above for some reason..

Anyways, after investigation on the missing item, they refunded my money. Items disappeared from their carrier's side from another state.
