Hello dimers,

I currently have Google One subscription for 1 year (individual) which is due for renewal next month.

I wanted to ask community what is the best (read cheapest) way to buy Google One subscription nowadays.

(Timesprime won't work since I am not a new user.)

Please share your tips. Thanks.

Try reducing your storage needs if possible so you don't need to buy subscription at all. You can put some less used data in other service/account to free up space from you main account.

I thought about purchasing storage subscription as well but decided it was a risk in case I failed to pay for a month for any reason and lose my data.

you will not loose the data brother if you dont pay , they keep the data for 2 years . Having said that 15 GB should be enough , we can keep lesser used/important file in other google account. my primary use case is for google photos , though i use the pixelify-gphotos h@ck (photos spaces not counted/ google photo premium features) but still i make sure i do not have unnecessary files occupying my quota.

That sounds horrifying. If due to some glitch or your own mistake, your videos become public, it will be very bad.

Seems you don't understand the replication features and why people use cloud services.

What if the storage drive gets corrupted or is destroyed due to any reason (fire, flood etc) . Would you want to regret losing lifetime memories in such cases or pay for a subscription.
