Need help - Side loading apps on Samsung the Frame TV

Have been trying to side load apps on Samsung the frame TV but not successful. When using usb it doesn’t recognise the app file. Also not able to download either directly through the website. Even not able to download the File Manager app. Tried various YouTube / web tutorials with no success
Any idea how to do it?

Ok. Err… didnot know that we need Tizen apps. Was trying to sideload android apps only…. laughing laughing

Yes samsung tvs use tizen os. By the way you wont be able to find compatible tizen apps besides the fact that I dont think this os supports sideloading (have personally never tried). Apps available in Samsung Store are your only source.

Those TVs have Tizen OS.. not Android OS so the .apk files won’t work for them.!

Can I just rename apk files as tpk file ? Would that work ?
