Bas keep those documents if case of future police case issue.
Aur kya hi kar sakte ho.
Check if there is any email of local RTO, send them the information that you have sold the bike.
Write application to the authority in which bike is registered and send copy of all those documents you have showing you sold bike.
(If you can visit authority personally it would be more effective)
That document u have is valid only for 3 months, so either get sign on fresh doc or pressurize him for transfer.
Or if you want to have crazy fun, do as the first comment says (file for stolen🤣)
😂😂
solve the issue asap... might involve in police cases.. in telangana there is portal to register for sold vehicle i think.. in challan portal.
Call the buyer. Ask him to do the transfer within a week, else tell him that you're gonna file a complaint for it to be stolen.
The ball is still in your court if you choose to make use of it.
You are sufferer of your own self created blunder.
The more you delay, the more you will gain stress now.
You must inform authorities to take necessary action against current buyer.
Indeed you are liable for any challans/ accident mishaps/ misuse of vehicle etc since you are registered owner. And you will be liable until you are registered as owner.
Take it seriously.
Earlier it was duty of buyer to get RC transferred but now rules have changed the seller is liable to get RC transferred. If he fails to do so all liabilities are on him. So do the needful at earliest.
One of my known person suffered huge issues due to non transfer of the documents. The person whom he sold the vehicle met with a fatal accident and the driver of the opposite vehicle died. It was a huge legal issue and also financial loss. File a police complaint for non transfer of documents and inform him through a police notice that you won't be responsible for any legal issues due to non transfer.
get a notary done and get it signed.
Do it ASAP, as your life depends on it. Because it is.
If anything happens, you will be in legal hassles which you can't even imagine. Ask him to do the transfer tomorrow, otherwise, you will file a stolen case of a vehicle tomorrow. The process is online and is completed in a few days. (Still prefer to go through the agent.)
PS: Agents can transfer the vehicle only with the documents, no need to go anywhere. (If the person is ready to pay the fees OR you are ready to bourne it.)
Need to clear all the challans as well before the transfer process takes place. (Buyer is supposed to clear them, but challans will be in your name as of now if is there any. 😔)
None of your documents are legally valid. Your are still the owner of the vehicle and is the first point of contact if the vehicle is involved in any accidental death or criminal case. Contact the buyer and get the transfer done.
Warn him & if he still doesn't listens get the RTO cancelled & file a stolen FIR.
Criminals use this kind of vehicles to commit crimes so better safe then sorry.
Affidavit?

Thanks everyone.
I have threatened the buyer that i will raise police complaint (report it as stolen). mentioned that the validity of documents signed is only 3 months (which is due to be expired in 5 days) and asked him to get it done before that..
surprisingly it went well and he submitted documents via Motolic the very next day.
