Axis liberty or Hdfc.

But dont think this is long term process because within few days debit card option will be removed from cheq (most probable)

Indusind exclusive account. Get mastercard world exclusive debit card with it, it gives rewards for payment throigh cheq/postpe etc. Also you get 20% off bigbasket upto 500 per month and 0 forex charges.

Points you will get worth rs 1050 for 1.12l payment (almost 1%). Minimum balance is 1l

I dont think it will. Now other platform are also allowing cc payment through dc. Earlier only few allowed and that too for above 50k-1l payment. Now cred, postpe, paytm, freecharge all allowing dc for lowest amounts

Paytm and mobikwik always allowed, amazon never. Except these 2 none of them has been consistant. Freecharge charges 1%+gst, Postpe again removed dc option atleast for me if not for all

Initial funding means during account opening process, you need to fund the account (options like net banking, etc will be provided)...

P.S :- once your account set-up is done, you can withdraw the amount.

2. No, as far as I know it is standard procedure for all banks in India. e.g. Kotak 811 once closed/converted can never be opened again.

I haven't tried that
Just tried. It cannot. Anybody who had previously opened account with ICICI cannot open new account digitally (even if their previous account is closed)

Bank software/operating procedures & rbi rules. Digital is preferred because it is cheaper for banks to open/operate hence they can afford to give zero bal on it but if someone start opening/closing it again or existing users start opening it/shifting to it then it result in loss/similar cost to bank as regular acc. There is also rbi rules regarding kyc & bank software may get confused by duplicate/multiple entries of same pan for such digital accs.

Anything similar for HDFC to open zero balance account ? (Not the Jan dhan ones) @guest_999

No, closest you can get is open a regular 10k MAB acc then transfer 1 lakh to it & keep it there for a month & then go to branch & fill acc upgrade form to classic banking. Once acc is upgraded you can use it as zero bal acc as ppl say hdfc rarely downgrades classic banking accs for not maintaining 1 lakh MAB.

So I opened my mother's account (95K initial funding) on Tuesday night and got application as pdf instantly. Then on Wednesday at 11 am did video KYC. now if I check application status, still it's showing option for video KYC.

1) Do we get any confirmation sms/email after video KYC ? If yes, then when

2) how do we check if our account is full/mini Kyc ?

P.S :-

1) logged into net banking working. Balance showing there.

2) imobile still not working. After verification sms sent it asks for creating login pin and then when entered, it keeps on buffering.

If it is mini kyc icici won't allow to add funds more than ₹1 lakhs try adding ₹5001 to existing ₹95000 if it allows then full kyc verified
