Need help with bsnl recharge.

I did a 429 recharge yesterday and got validity of just one day 😕(it was supposed to be 81 days with 1gb per day date) . Now the validity got expired today and I dont even have another bsnl number to register a complaint. How can I register a complaint?

Yes, it was supposed to be. Circle is Rajasthan. How do know if the money is wasted and I should do another recharge?

Don’t have any idea download my bsnl app from Playstore and check. Otherwise call to customer care number from other operator

include Circle, commited benefits in this post itself.

e-mail them, in case call support (1800-180-1503) does not help much.
You sure that this combo/ special recharge DID HAVE plan extension/ SIM validity?

Calling to CC ⚌ remember.. that maybe Rj calls too are handled by Gj contact center (just like MH, Goa, MP, CG).. so it might be 10-20 minutes apso befpre connecting to agent.
but it does connect on most ocassion.
(yes😛 if the agent has tightrope walking to do and wanrs to msintain good average handling time… they might.. after 4-5 minutes of same talk or call time.. simply say that they are transferring to supervisor. THAT is where risk of call drop or call simply never connecting to human.. might be an issue)

Called them using another airtel number, got connected to one of the agent after waiting for 20 mins and after that he said, call Rajasthan customer care number which he gave. The number he gave, is switched off from morning 🤦.

That is an STV not a PlanVoucher..
You must have recharged on last day of active plan… so you got STV validity till Plan validity

Yes, if your Airtel SIM (or any SIM) was originally of some circle.. say Andaman oe Kashmir.. then BSNL rputes the calls to THAT😢😳 circle.. even if number is in Rajasthan or xyz.

Although obviously .. agsin trying (calling) from some locsl number/lamdline might yield faster options.
Today is Sunday, so visiting the exchsne/ physucal CSD has to wait, if you want to explore that

STV = Special Tariff Voucher (alter call and/or data and/or SMS rates//tariff)
Plan Voucher = gives you ABILITY to make calls//send SMS//access internet.

STVs work only if you have active plan and won’t give you any service validity.!

You should have recharged with a PV first, then with this STV..

Yes, I also can see 81Day validity… but STVs only work with a base plan.
Check STV validity date first, as STV recharge won’t change plan validity

Frankly I have never done any validity recharge till now, i always used to do these stv only. Also the message for the recharged showed for valid till 16 only (just checked) and plan actually expired on 15(reconfirmed in msg) so I have got 1 day validity with this. 👿

Yeah, retried the toll free number, they just connects it randomly to any circle. I guess going to the office is the last resort tomorrow since not sure whether even doing the next recharge will increase the validity or not.

nope, unless emergency, do not do another validity recharge on BSNL (in BSNL any recharges/ spl topups with similar benefits.. oy the last one is valid.. i think)

Do lodge online complaint too in the meantime.

For BSNL, I go to their portal and do the recharge, I’ve been burned like this before where a 360+ recharge was just added for like a 2-3 day validity for ISD

Registered a complaint in local office, they said they have dropped a mail and should get resolved in 3-4 hours.

Got resolved smile

So, for BSNL no need of PV.? One can do STV recharges also to extend SIM validity. Is it so?

Bro, I have never done a pv recharges, also did stv recharge. I didnt even know the differences till now. I don’t think pv recharge is needed.

I think the problem is some plans give you a very long validity period like 6-12 months but the plan validity only lasts 28-84 days.. So if you renew in that time it works fine. I never knew of this problem before but I understand it better now. Maybe this works like the sim validy of other operators.. my idea has a sim validity until 2099 or something but plan validity is only 28 days.. BSNL gave me like 1 year validity for rs106.. I decided not to use them since they drained rs2000 balance for 2gb of data when they did not sms me that the plan had expired..
