Only thing you can do is ask Customer care to convert it into LTF I guess. Try threatening them by saving you want to close your credit card since it isn’t LTF but currently HDFC is providing LTF to everyone
Need help with HDFC LTF Credit Card

I’m already holding my Regalia First CC for last 4 years and wanted to upgrade to Regalia.
The current card is also not LTF (Rs 1,000 annual charges waived off on spends of Rs 1,00,000) but there are so many threads here that says that HDFC is offering the cards as LTF now.
I’m pretty much confused now.
I even spoke with the cc for an upgrade but they say there is no offer for you. I even applied for another card in Aug which eventually got rejected. My cibil score is around 830 and that shouldn’t be an issue since I’m holding other cards having limit as high as 6 lakhs.
I would really appreciate if someone could suggest me in getting my HDFC card upgraded and ways to make it LTF (I know the utility bill payments method is one of them).
Should I close my current regalia first card and apply for a fresh one or approach the bank directly for an upgrade?

Even if you apply for another card , it’ll be rejected. Hdfc rarely allows one person to hold 2 hdfc ccs. Your best bet is convincing customer care.

Their straight forward reply is to drop the relevant docs to nearest hdfc bank for an upgrade
I got cc approved on hdfc savings account without being pre-approved. I don’t have a pre approved offer on my account, so I decided to apply simply by entering as self employed, and uploaded no income documents. They gave a check on my cibil score which is 780, and look regarding my credit history. I have a simply click fd based card with limit of 30k on fd of ₹40k. Now hdfc gave me a limit of 40k without any verification. No call, no address verification nothing.
So if anyone holding fd based card and good cibil score must give a try for hdfc card.

I’ve more than 2 lakh annual spends. Was able to grab 6*1000 Amazon vouchers in last 1 year for meeting the monthly spends criteria. Already holding idfc and AZ icici as ltf cards. Could you help with the mail id?

Did you try asking them to close the card or make it ltf?
I called them on 08061606131 and asked them to make it LTF or close the card. They agreed on closing it after paying the due amount. No drama.
Seems I’m blacklisted like this with no offers and my best chance is to close the card and apply for a fresh one again.

Have you ever defaulted? Like paying the bill late or going over limit?
only once and it was with a minor amount.
like for a bill of 20000 I missed it by around 400 by mistake.
Other than that, the bills were paid on time.

Thanks for the mail id bro. I got a reply stating that they can offer me Millennia card (LTF) as an upgrade from Regalia First provided I opt for smartpay registration. I’m already holding IDFC first Select card which offers a 6x reward points on all online spends.
I’m confused now if I should be upgrading to Millennia.
Any suggestions? @Tanmayyy

Definitely yes! You can buy amazon gv’s at 6% valueback from smart buy. And 5% cashback on both amazon ans Flipkart purchase can be a steal if you buy something with 10% discount hdfc offer.

Won’t regalia be a better upgrade? I can pester them with this request as well.
Also does millennia has a dedicated SmartBuy reward points portal? This usually provides a better roi for reward points.

I doubt they will be willing to give regalia since they already offered millenia. But you can try.

Congratulations bro! IDFC other fellow dimers can guide!
Finally got my Regalia First upgraded to Millennia CC (LTF condition – smartpay registration)
Thanks to all dimers who suggested and helped.
I have spent 50k on my Millennia CC. How do check if it is now LTF or not ?
@akki.akki @SunnyKh call customer care on 08061606161 and ask them if the card is LTF
