Has anyone here installed Solar Rooftop System for electricity generation in Karnataka, especially Bengaluru?
What would be the total cost for a 1KW or 2KW system be? And what’s the average number of units you generate?
And will we get any subsidy here?

I installed 3kw last year in Gujarat. They offered 40% subsidiary. It cost me around 96k with structure.
Panel was from Adani with 25 yrs. Warranty
Wire – Polycab
Inverter – Solis
Daily generation around 12-13 Units. It Depends on weather.
So how much earning per month by this setup

Solar panel prices have come down drastically in recent times.. Tata n others are still quoting a very high price just because for their brand name..
Look at luminous etc for a good priced setup. You can get their dealer contact online if you search. Talk to a few of them n collect a breakup of the equipment and installation seperately n compare.
Installation is not a big deal, but they to make it sound as if it is a specialist job. Anyone with basic masonry n structural work knowledge can do it IMO.
If going for govt subsidy schemes, be cautious of their registered suppliers.. substandard workmanship, cheap quality kits.. just keen on trying to eat up the subsidy in conjunction with the officials..
Then how do we choose?
Tata atleast can be trusted to be in the market and replace the panels if something happens in the next 25 years under warranty. Can we trust Luminous the same way? And can we trust subsidy vendors with warranty replacement?
Without subsidy the price is too much and doesn’t make much sense for me.
Is it profitable if anyone can share data here …

I think there is subsidy from state and central government
And will there be any discounts on monthly bill?
